Are you planning a holiday or trying to find things to do in Townsville? Well you have come to the right place.
The formerly quiet coastal town of Townsville has flourished into a modern metropolis in recent times, transforming into Australia’s largest urban centre north of the Sunshine Coast. Officially home to Australia’s 3rd & 11th Brigades, Townsville remains home to one of the country’s largest army barracks and military bases.
The city combines federation architecture with an array of sophisticated restaurants, alfresco casual dining options, urban street art, vibrant nightlife, first class accommodation and boutique shopping like no other regional Queensland city. Ideally situated, Townsville is the perfect place to explore the best of Northern Queensland.

Offering a 360-degree vantage point of the city, with sweeping views from Paluma Ranges to Magnetic Island, a visit to the massive iconic 268-metre-tall pink granite monolith surely won’t dissapoint!
You can always extend your trip out west whilst you are here, if you are wanting to explore more of the outback. With Charters Towers only 90 minutes away, followed by a 5 hour drive to Winton, you can easily access the remote and peaceful bush.
